Arrival in Guatemala City / Welcome Dinner
Afternoon: Arrival at La Aurora International Airport (Guatemala City)
Transfer: Private shuttle to hotel

8:30 PM: Introduction by Cliff Dunning and Geophilia team. Overview of the retreat and travel logistics
December 2:
Journey to Lake Atitlán
8:30 AM: Breakfast at hotel.
10:00 AM: Depart by private shuttle to Lake Atitlán (approx. 3 hours).
13:30 PM: Arrival at Hotel

Afternoon free to enjoy the lake, gardens, or spa.

December 3:
Lectures / Mayan Fire Ceremony
7:30 AM: Breakfast at hotel.
9:30 AM: Lecture by Dr. Lydia de Leon.
11:30 AM: Free time for lake activities.
1:00 PM: Lunch
3:00 PM: Depart for Fire Ceremony.
4:00 PM – 6:30 PM: Traditional Maya Fire Ceremony

Boat Ride To Sunken Temple/ Cacao Ceremony
7:30 AM: Breakfast at hotel
9:30 AM: boat ride across Lake Atitlán for meditation in Sunken City
11:30 AM: Free time for lake activities
1:00 PM: Lunch
3:30 PM: Depart for Fire Ceremony
4:00 PM – 6:30 PM: Cacao Ceremony led by indigenous spiritual guide – heart-opening ritual and meditation
7:30 PM: Return to hotel
December 5:
Transfer to Guatemala City
9:00 AM: Breakfast and check-out.
10:30 AM: Private shuttle back to Guatemala City (approx. 3 hours).

3:30 PM: Visit Museo Popol Vuh
6:00 PM: Evening free to explore the city or relax

Flight to Flores
9:00 AM: Breakfast and check-out.
10:30 AM: Relax time
1:30 PM: Lunch box at airport.
4:00 PM: Flight to Flores (approx. 1 hour).
5:30 PM: Arrive Flores and transfer to Flores Island for dinner and walk.

Tikal Exploration / Sunset Experience

10:30 AM: Guided exploration and exploration of Tikal’s Grand Plaza

3:00 PM: Continue Tikal exploration
5:00 PM: Sunset activation at temple

10:30 AM – 13:30 AM: Further guided exploration of Tikal’s pyramids.

5:30-6.30: Meditation and ceremony activation from Mayan Elder

Uaxactún Pyramid Exploration
8:30 AM: Breakfast at hotel.
9:30 AM: Depart by shuttle to Uaxactún (approx. 1 hour)
10:30 AM – 1:30 PM: Guided exploration of Uaxactún

6:30 PM: evening free to swim in the lake and enjoy the hotel

Yaxhá Pyramid Exploration

9:30 AM: Depart for Yaxhá ruins
10:30 AM – 1:30 PM: Guided tour, activations and meditations of Yaxhá’s ceremonial plazas and lake views

Cliff Dunning
Cliff Dunning is the host and producer of the popular podcast, Earth Ancients: Startling New Discoveries from Our Planets Distant Past. A writer, his articles appear in publications around the world.
Dr. Lydia de Leon
Dr. Lydia de Leon is a Greek born Holistic Architect, Coach and Temple expert, with a focus on the relation of buildings on health and well-being. She has been researching for 15 years the relation between ancient temples and their location, as well as decoding their true nature and function through a new lens blending scientific research and ancient wisdom. Arturo Ponce de Leon
Arturo Ponce de Leon is a Mexican Architect, Engineer, Psychologist and is a world leading expert in Sacred Geometry, which he has been teaching for 20 years and applying to architectural design in a broad spectrum of projects. He is the author of several books, an international speaker and an expert on decoding and applying Sacred Geometry. He is co-founder of Psychogeometry and Geophilia.
