Adam Young’s Media Suggestions:
1) “Secrets of the Dead Sounds from the Stone Age”
This interesting documentary focuses mainly on the British Isles and sites like Maeshowe, Stonehenge and other standing stone sites. The builders of these had a sophisticated knowledge of acoustics, and these engineers set out to demonstrate the remarkable properties that STILL exist at some of these sites.
2) “Sonic Magic: The wonder and science of sound”
This is a well-made documentary on sound, and the beginning if focused on cymatics – how geometry is influenced by sound waves. It is visually stunning and very well edited.
This can also be found on Gaia if you have a subscription
3) “Ancient Tomorrow” from Border2Border Entertainment
This is about the journey of several pationate people that have recently ‘woke’ up to the notion that ancient technologies existed in the distant past. Many well-known sites are discussed and there are interviews with multiple experts.
Available on Amazon, other streaming apps.
3) Carl Lehrburger: “Secrets of Ancient America: Archaeoastronomy and the legacy of the Phoenicians, Celts, and other Forgotten Explorers”
Carl Lehrburger has demonstrated extensively that other cultures were in North America long before the Native Americans. This book discusses such examples like Egyptian and Chinese glyphs and demonstrates that Christopher Columbus was aware that the continent not only existed but navigated here with the use of ancient maps.
